Brian Waite

Pit Boss Nation, please join us in celebrating our November Hero of the Month: Brian Waite! Senior Master Sergeant Brian Waite is a Sensor Operator who has served in the U.S. Air Force for the last 17 years. Prior to joining the Air Force, he served 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. Brian was nominated by his wife, who describes him as “a hard worker, strong, determined man who also has a heart of gold, an ear to listen and always willing to help.” She says these characteristics made him perfect for the military so that he can serve while being a “humble hero.” Even in his time off, Brian is known to find ways to help out in the community, whether it’s coaching Rifle at his son’s school, serving as a Boy Scout Committee Chairman or organizing a toy drive for a local children's hospital. And that’s just to name a few examples. In his free time, Brian still manages to make his grilling hobby all about serving others. In fact, his wife says that he does the bulk of the cooking during the summer months, getting the most use out of his grill. Various cuts of meat, kabobs, pizza, and more are typically on the menu. Their family favorite recipe is marinated flank steak that Brian grills to perfection! Thank you for your service, Brian!
